There’s a reason we chose the image of a butterfly to represent Juno Health. It’s a symbol not only of beauty and strength, but also of change and transformation.
Which is something all women can relate to!
From puberty through menopause and beyond, women have a unique set of health challenges. As females, mothers and daughters ourselves, we not only understand that journey, but also recognise that the modern practice model doesn’t always meet the needs of busy women both young and old.
Here for all women
We’re in it together
Juno is a place where women and their whanau can seek specialist advice for everything from puberty and pregnancy to sexual health, menopause and ongoing breast and bone health.
We’re here for ALL women, whatever age and stage of life you’re at and however you identify yourself.
Even if you’re not enrolled as a patient at Juno Health, you can still come to us for Women’s Health consultations and specialist procedures.
We are pleased to be offering 30 minute women's health appointments on Tuesday mornings with Dr Catherine Smart. These appointments are a good time to discuss women's health issues such as periods, contraception, menopause, and IUD insertion and removal. Please see our ‘Fees’ tab for more information.
Your existing GP can refer you to our Women’s Health Clinics (where funding may also be available).
For more information or to book an appointment please talk to our reception team.
Our tailored approach
Everything we do is tailored to you and your particular needs, with longer 30-minute appointments ensuring we have plenty of time to get to know each other. We take a multi-disciplinary approach, involving other experts and trusted health services, with the opportunity to refer to specialist’s including gynecologists, dieticians, and physiotherapists who specialise in the pelvic floor as and when required.
