Born and raised in Christchurch, Sandy graduated from Otago University in 2016.

Sandy is passionate about women's health, sports medicine, and minor surgery.

She is particularly proud of representing the NZDF in hockey and leading the clinical response to a COVID outbreak in Egypt.

In her spare time Sandy enjoys watching and playing sport.
